Awards
The greeting card industry's LOUIE Awards recognize the most outstanding greeting cards marketed in the U.S. The annual LOUIEs competition is sponsored by the Greeting Card Association (GCA). It is open to all greeting card publishers, and each year the competition receives hundreds and hundreds of entries from all over the world. The winners are revealed at the annual LOUIE awards gala, which is held every May in New York City to match the timing of the National Stationery Show. The awards ceremony culminates with the naming of the two Cards of the Year - the most outstanding cards among all category winners in each of the two pricing classifications, as chosen by a blue-ribbon panel.
