KT Original The story of KT Original begins with two sisters.
Kristin Taddey is the KT in KT Original and the creative force behind the collection. What was once a hobby quickly became a business opportunity when a local boutique in her hometown of La Jolla, California, asked her to produce some greeting cards and stationery to feature in the store. While working as a full-time dental-hygienist, Kristin seized the opportunity and followed her dreams and life-long passion.
Her youngest sister, Jennifer Loyd, quickly realized something special was happening with the "side business" her sister had formed. A genuine family business began to evolve, as their Mom, Patty, began to assist with product design.
KT Original debuted at the 2005 National Stationery Show
Combining their talents, KT Original debuted at the 2005 National Stationery Show in New York City to unbelievable success. KT Original is now carried in over 400 boutiques and shops across the country, as retailers continue to look toward this business for fresh and feminine designs.
