The suffering people of Haiti, the poorest country in the Western hemisphere, offer you their personally handcrafted Banana Bark cards. The production of these cards offer jobs to mothers who have no other opportunity to make money in order to feed their babies.
 Made from the natural bark of banana trees in Haiti, these beautifully authentic cards are a lifeline cast to the poverty-stricken. Banana bark naturally falls to the ground, offering poor Haitians the opportunity to work. The bark is gathered, meticulously cut into various shapes, and carefully glued onto cards that have been given to the participants who get paid for each card they produce.
Food For The Poor established the Banana Bark Program in Haiti to supply jobs to those who could not feed their young. Jobs are few in Haiti; more than two-thirds of the labor force do not have formal jobs. Combined with the turmoil within the country, opportunities for the hungry to put food on their table are increasingly rare. Little children are the innocent victims of these problems.
As parents ourselves, we believe in giving and making a difference, even if it's just for one child in this world.
 A percentage of Baby Cachet's proceeds will go to Food For The Poor to support the Banana Bark Cards progam on a yearly basis. Food For The Poor is a Christian relief and development agency dedicated to helping the poor.
